BUGA 2009
The design of the garden of 21 Century was the task of planning concept for the city of Schwerin, the Federal Garden Show was held in 2009. The planning area is located on one of the most prominent place in Schwerin. The overall goal of the redesign was to stage the existing city as key elements of the castle and the palace garden, the attractive old town and the important elements connecting these lakes as an urban stage. This goal was reached by a few consistent interventions. The garden of 21 Century consisted of the input space, the meeting point and starting point for sightseeing, and the floating meadow, the stage of the Federal Horticultural Schwerin. Floating on the lawn, the temporary exhibition concept for the time the Federal Garden Show was held.
